"Making good men better"
What is Freemasonry?
Freemasonry is a fraternity that traces its origins to the local fraternities of stonemasons in the Middle Ages. Its members are known as Speculative Masons, or Freemasons. Freemasonry has always been dedicated to the brotherhood of man, the personal improvement of its members, and helping our community through charity and goodwill. It teaches moral lessons through the use of symbolism taken from stonemasonry, and its members are expected to adhere to a high moral standard. Freemasonry is not a religion, but it does require its members to have a belief in a Supreme Being.

Its practices and values can be traced back through the centuries, and its membership has included such renowned individuals as George Washington and Benjamin Franklin, among other Founding Fathers.
